It was cold here this morning too, but the sun is shining now!And I've also been baking...rock cakes :) xx
I've heard of rock cakes, but not eaten them. They're big in England, aren't they?
Aparently they did originate in Britain, but I hadn't really thought about it until I googled it. They are an old favourite in Australia, but I guess that comes from being a British colony originally.
That is a lovely sunrise! I haven't seen a sunrise for a while as it is a bit too early for me!
And I'll bet your sunrise is even earlier than ours, Clare!
It will be 04.38 tomorrow morning. It starts getting light just after 03.00. I know this because I was awake at that time a few days ago.
I knew it! Tomorrow here sunrise is 5:17. I've been hearing the birds start singing around 4:30ish. On warm days, I try real hard to get up when it gets light, but it's not always so easy, the hardest thing being to get in bed early enough. :D
I never get to bed early enough!
Well, those are two evocative photos on the same post!
You made me look again! :D
