in full bloom

The red rose bush has been there so long that even when I forget to fertilize it

it still amazes.

  1. Your rose bush is so beautiful....love, love, love the color! I just noticed I have several rose buds on my bush out front. I can't WAIT for it to look like yours.:) Enjoy the sun!

  2. Mmmm! It's beautiful! I've never liked cut red roses--for bouquets or vases or single ones--but when I see red roses still on the bush, I think they're just heavenly. These are gorgeous, Lisa. My aunt Laurie had a red rose bush that "came with" her house decades ago. It's funny how they can take care of themselves so beautifully once they're established, but people think roses are so fussy and difficult. :) Lovely!

  3. We have knock-out roses here, and they require very little care. After their first full blooming period, we are now having some new buds open.

    1. My friend has some Knock-Out roses, and one of them has a bit of mildew, which they aren't supposed to get.
