the down sides of working in a library

There are none, of course. Except.

There are so many books I'd like to read, but I'll never have time.

And we have so many cookbooks - how will I ever go through them all?

  1. Ha! Yesssssssssssss. :) Mike is a librarian--at a university before and for a law firm now--and yes, yes, yes. The piles of books around here, between the two of us! And I think reading cookbooks is the most relaxing kind of reading, especially holiday-themed ones. I love 'em. :)

  2. I think I would love working in a library, but would most likely be fired for reading instead of working. You've got some great selections there!

  3. Oh yes! I am afraid my new Kindle will be my downfall. Loaded with sooo many books that I am afraid I will never get through them all. And that doesn't include all the beautiful "real" books I received as Christmas gifts. Thinking maybe I need to "come down with a virus" and spend a day in bed doing nothing except reading

  5. I think that "Bake Until Bubbly" cover is one of my favorite cookbook covers. I wondered where that had gotten itself off too......
